34-year old star of the series "How I Met Your Mother" and her husband is Alex Denisof announced that are expecting their first child, which will come into the world in spring next year.

Hannigan and Denisof met in 1999 at the youth plan series "Buffy, terror Vampire Slayer" and were married in October 2003.

The Regency Enterprises is outing their new project, which is the work of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. Approached to star in the untitled spoof of the romantic comedies among others are Alyson Hannigan, Eddie Griffin, Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge, and British newcomer Adam Campbell.

In that fresh from the oven project, Alyson Hannigan plays the lead role, while Campbell plays her romantic interest. Griffin is asked to portray's Hannigan's father, while Coolidge and Willard are Campbell's parents.

Once again, I apologize for the lack of updates to the site. I was released from the hospital 25 days ago after spending about 3 weeks in the hospital for removal of a benign brain tumor the size of an orange. The tumor has caused random short-term memory loss -- I can't even remember when they took me to the hospital or when I went into surgery.

All seems well though and I am trying to recover my life after missing at least 5 weeks of it. I was evicted from my apartment but supposedly all my belongings are in storage. I will start uploading new content to the site when I have found all my computer and videocapping equipment.

Hannigan was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Emilie Posner, a real estate agent, and Al Hannigan, a truck driver. Hannigan is Jewish on her mother's side, and also has Irish ancestry. Her parents divorced a year after her birth and she was raised mostly by her mother in Atlanta.

Although Hannigan had appeared in an industrial film for "Active Parenting" as a baby, as well as starred in a commercial for the Duncan Hines cookie mix in 1978, it was not until she moved to Los Angeles, California, in 1985 that she formally began her acting career. Living with her mother and attending North Hollywood High School, she successfully auditioned for agents while visiting her father in Santa Barbara. After attending North Hollywood High School she attended California State University, Northridge.

She currently plays Lily Aldrin in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, but is also well known for her previous role as Willow Rosenberg on the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She also played flutist Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie film series.
